I too wouldn't doubt JK, but I still think it's bizarre to react to the absence of an Ivor Novello award listing in the official Ivor Novello archive by concluding that the Ivor Novello organisation be less reliable than Wikipedia on the subject of Ivor Novellos! Wiki fails to give any source, other than anecdotal, for its own(en passant) reference, and JK's appearance on ITS list of Ivor Novello winners is BLANK, which hardly shows great research!

I did not say that the Ivor Novello organisation is less reliable than Wikipedia.

The posts often come in batches not one by one,so I was not snubbing the helpful link to the Novello list... I think it wasn't there when I posted about Queen. Otherwise it would have been handier to look at the link.

However, just because something is on an official list on the internet doesn't mean it cant be wrong. People make mistakes all the time, or choose to edit history for various reasons.
