Yes, was an interesting programme - and shows how family history can "disappear" within a couple of generations. The one from a couple of years ago with Frank Gardner - who is descended from William the Conqueror - was repeated a couple of nights ago on Yesterday.

Frank and I share a mutual line - the Stanhope line - Frank is descended from Sir Michael Stanhope (who got his head chopped off) and I am descended from his brother.
