Re:Like hiring a hitman... 5 Years, 6 Months ago
Now, it's Australia's turn.

After a 4 year Royal Commission inquiry - revealing 17,000 cases of child abuse - Scott Morrison (PM) apologised to the victims, on behalf of the nation.

This happened yesterday in parliament.

Victims will be entitled to compensation of £80,000.

George Pell, the Australian Cardinal is currently being tried on child abuse matters.

Hard to keep up - even with the Catholic church's own investigations and accusations about child sexual abuse by its clergy.

John Jenik, a bishop in New York City, has now been accused by the church - which, until relatively recently, denied any such abuse by its clergy.

Cases are ongoing also - by external agencies, governmental and federal - in a variety of jurisdictions. From Australia to Chile; Pennsylvania to Texas.

Many will have outcomes soon - and the extent of the lengthy cover-ups will be seen.

Some are thought to be ongoing for 75 years, with the knowledge of the church - and a football team of Popes!

Diocese of Buffalo now subpoenaed by the Feds - in respect of another investigation into child sexual abuse, by clergy.

Buffalo was the subject of the ubiquitous '60 Minutes' TV programme, in the US recently.

It's becoming difficult to name US States where Federal - or other legal cases/investigations - are not being held!

Diocese of Guam now files for bankruptcy, admitting it's the fairest way for victims of child abuse by Catholic clergy.

Archbishop Apouron - just recently dismissed by the Vatican was personally involved in the abuse.

AA even raped his own nephew - and about 200 cases are being taken against the RCC, in Guam.

This bandwagon is growing so fast - particularly in the majority of US states.

More legal cases here are imminent...

Archdiocese of Atlanta now releases a list of its clergy, against whom credible allegations of child abuse have been made.

The list goes back over 60 years - and many other US dioceses are currently preparing them to evidence the church's new transparency.

Not long ago, there was a blanket denial of such allegations. Perhaps Francis has been instrumental - in this massive u-turn?
