Monday night MWT talk 5 Years, 2 Months ago
Anyone going ?

Giving talk tomorrow night for
@FunzingUK
about #JimmySavile . On re-reading files and notes of my investigation it is interesting to find quite a lot of info that has still not been in the public domain . Will discuss some of it tomorrow.

Sadly some people would say even black paint in a tin , with a label saying black and unopened - would argue its white . I call these people the 3am brigade ....it’s only a small number and they have probably all written to everyone I work with telling them how wrong I am .

He doesn't seem to realise that some people have actually bothered to examine the contents of the tin. Interesting that he says people have been writing to those he works with. Not a bad idea.

He seems to be implying that people who think Jimmy Savile and Rolf Harris are innocent are just nutters who have nothing better to do but send messages at 3 a.m.

The Twitter thread has expanded.

Ade Jacobs:
Forgive me for asking but would you not double check that the label was correct by opening the tin?

Mark Williams-Thomas
Yeah and they would still say it’s white when it’s clearly black

He is sounding a bit down there I'm guessing because he knows he has been found out.
The evidence he always speaks of is hearsay no hard evidence no film or affidavit from the time and if he works on hearsay he did not listen to Anna Raccoon who was actually there at the time Jimmy was doing deeds but heard and see nothing.
Anyway he is gargling back stage looking at the questions list and avoiding the awkward.

How dare he! There are hundreds of us not a few. Him and the Media have done such a "good" job in making it impossible for us to speak freely we've kept quiet. Rest assured sir our day will come and you and the rest will have had your last pay day using my family name. There are several out there that think its OK to make money on the back of this outrageous scandal. Whether you think there is truth in Savilisation or not, to profit from ours and everyone else's misery is abhorrent. May your profits bring you neither joy nor peace. Karma will look after you.

BTW when our day comes, we have evidence, lots of it.

I really hope that one day the reputation of Sir Jimmy can be restored. I think that it will be a long time in happening sadly.

His reputation has never been damaged, as far as I'm concerned. Yes, there's a lot of talk, but none of it stands up to scrutiny.

I was never into his TV shows as a kid but thinking back, I do remember the marathons and many other charity endeavours each of which was 10 times more philanthropy than most other people manage in a lifetime.

So how did Mark's talk go last night? I could have gone but decided to watch paint dry instead.

Some reviews on Funzing:

Tanaeia
I attended this talk yesterday (February 11th) from 7:30pm - 9pm. Mark was an engaging & captivating speaker. I really admired that he put the victims at the forefront of his investigation into Jimmy Savile. I think sometimes they can get overlooked in the midst of an exposé, but he ensured that they were not forgotten & their voices were heard. I also appreciated that he continued to answer questions until 9:15 despite saying at the beginning that he had to dash at 9pm. I am definitely going to attend any future talks he delivers in London! Thanks, Mark!

David
An interesting, revealing and stimulating evening and Mark was engaging, informative and insightful.

Tom
Great talk from a very knowledgeable presenter. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Michael
Really interesting and engaging talk. Although I already knew about the subject, there was so much more to hear about from Mark.

Johannah
Thoroughly enjoyed it, could have done with more time given the detail he could have gone in to.

It looks as if he has changed the title of his Savile talks to make it more salacious. His February 11 talk is no longer listed on Funzing, but it is on his FB page, where it says this above a Funzing link titled "Jimmy Savile case: How was he finally exposed?"

TALK Monday 11th February 2019

Just how did Jimmy Savile evade capture for so long? How was he eventually exposed? Should he have been caught by authorities sooner? Join investigator & journalist Mark Williams-Thomas for this unrestricted talk, where we look into one of the most controversial cases of our time.

After years of rumour and hear say, in 2012 Mark William-Thomas’s investigative report for ITV finally exposed the late jimmy Savile as a predatory sex offender.

His dedication and tenacious approach to finally expose Savile has resulted in many other offenders being brought to just and a tidal wave change in public policies and public attitude.

In this no holds barred talk, Mark will give you the inside story around the steps which exposed the master manipulator, leading to the biggest media scandal & story in the last decade

Clicking on the link now takes you to a Funzing page with the title "Investigating Jimmy Savile: Exposing a monster" and the following blurb:

This Funzing Experience:

In 2012, Jimmy Savile was finally revealed as the monster we now know him as. How did he evade capture for so long? How was he eventually found out? Could he have been caught by the authorities sooner? Meet the investigator who finally helped expose him, Mark Williams-Thomas, for this unrestricted talk, where we look into one of the most controversial cases of our time.

If he's going to call Jimmy Savile a monster and do an unrestricted talk, it's surely only fair that people turn up and ask him unrestricted questions.

Funny how the people who went left replies that mainly have the word 'engaging' in them.
Surely it can't be one person having different I/D's or am I being a little paranoid 😆

The words "engaging" and "captivating" can't truely be applied to The Gargoyle, even if you believe his crap. "They" might as well have thrown the word "charismatic" in there too.
The words "unconvincing" , "desperate", "shallow" and "see-through" would be spot-on though!

How strange that Mark had a number of comments on Funzing saying how great ito was but on his Twitter account not one post talk comment does make you wonder if it's the work of PR that goes along with buying into funzing because they would not want to get no comments just does not look good.
Only a thought

That is interesting. Good point. I see he has been replying to the comments with thanks, etc., as he did before.

If you were going to a concert you would not expect the act to say

. "I also appreciated that he continued to answer questions until 9:15 despite saying at the beginning that he had to dash at 9pm"

Why would you have to dash from your gig at 9 pm? But hats off to mark he stayed until 9.15 he came on at 7pm ffs surely he could keep going to 10.30

The truth about Pistorious???

Well, if MWT has the guts to stand up and admit that he was wrong to declare that he was innocent when he wasn't, then good for him!

"I really admired that he put the victims at the forefront of his investigation into Jimmy Savile. I think sometimes they can get overlooked in the midst of an exposé,"

Jesus H.Christ how f*cking thick are some people?

Has she been living under a frigging rock?

It's been ALL ABOUT "The Victims" !

They've never shut up with their endless tales of woe (finally remembered after decades!..a'moaning and a'groaning how they turned to drugs and crime because Jimmy goosed them)

Even the ones who never WERE VICTIMS ! (including incarcerated child rapists)

Did this nitwit not read that a Judge condemned Williams-Thomas for allegedly trying to SELL DETAILS of alleged "VICTIMS"?

(capitals..sign of going mad )

I reckon he will have a reasonable audience for these talks for a time as there are enough nutters out there who still believe this balderdash but it will dry up soon as they are the sort of people who move on to the next High Drama. Savile is sooo yesterday.

Career over for MWT. In it's dying stages.

TALK Monday 11th February 2019

Just how did Jimmy Savile evade capture for so long?

Maybe the answer to that question is, "Because he didn't do most or all of the stuff of which he was accused." Or maybe the answer is, "Like a lot of unmarried famous men, his 'crime' was that he took advantage of what was offered to him on a plate."
