After a personal violaton of such proportions, I am entitled to hope Biden wins...

And keep off the sauce!

This campaign is showing up three distinctly different views on Trump and Biden:-

Women dislike T - but largely admire B

B is trusted more to contain the virus

T is viewed as being better for the economy

Most have voted already - and T's reductions in taxation and immigration will be the key factors.

Moi aussi - by a short head, and perhaps involving the Supreme Court

You are obsessed by it, if you fancy Trump or Biden just say it.

Other than that you're tedious !

Not a linguist then!

Moi aussi = me too/also

A French expression

But, in general parlance

Try polyglot Middlemas; I speak French, English, Gaelic, Lettish, Slovak and Cypriot Greek. Not bad for someone who didn't do well at school.

It's going to be a long process tonight.

Early states to give results will include Georgia, Florida and North Carolina - and these will be crucial.

Should Biden win any of the three, he immediately becomes clear favourite for the presidency.

These states will indicate where the ballots came from, and also how they were cast; the latter is highly significant.

Because Democrats will get most of the mail-in vote - and the Republicans, the majority of the in-person votes.

What isn't known is - by what percentages!

And the data from these three states will allow analysts to instantly make clear predictions for the entire country.

What sort of time will we know about those 3 states Middlemas? You will probably also know whether they ordinarily put up massive non scaleable fences around the White House or are they expecting particular bother this year!?

All 3 - between midnight and halfpast.

Never been in the US for a presidential election - so I don't know about security issues.

But potential riots are being mentioned (for some possible outcomes and areas) in various media outlets.

Wisconsin, another pivotal state, needs a large Democrat turnout in Milwalkie - if they're going to win it back.

Because of a major Covid spike this week - it won't be easy for Trump to win. Obama won it twice, before he arrived.

Another toss-up state - and Republicans have been prone to staying at home, for previous elections. Any thoughts anyone?

Democrats win to be announced shortly in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

A classic swing state with 10 Electoral College seats; the outcome couldn't have been closer.

Bringing Biden to nearly 250 - only 270 needed!

Seems all over - bar the shouting, accusations and Supreme Court wrangling.

And Trump wants a recount

Which he'll have to pay for - if the margin of error is <1%

That's about 2,000 votes

More recounts, allegations and court room actions to come

If Trump is anything, he's a fighter
