Have i missed it? I’ve yet to see any declaration of solidarity with Canada from Starmer. Instead we seem to be creeping around saying suck up to him to the max and he’ll be nice to us. Which is an idiotic fantasy.

Trump is putting the hard word on Starmer right now.

We're all keeping our heads down, Down Under, hoping he won't notice us..but but

Trump was refused an Australian gaming license in the late 90s after Federal Police concluded he was an "untrustworthy suspect character".

What if his long term memory comes back?

My only surprise is that he hasn't declared Martial Law yet
52nd State Hedda. Or 53rd after Canada and UK. And New Zealand aint out the picture either. Magnificent lamb.

I'm still waiting for President Trump to announce the 2028 election and primaries have all been cancelled like his wilder left opponents had been claiming after saying there would never be another election if he won and took over and he'd be there for life. Meanwhile in the real world it's actually Starmer who is attempting to cancel the due electoral process over here instead.

What game is Trump playing starting and then stopping these tariffs?

Agree re Starmer Rich but you cannot blame the "far" left (me ) for taking Trump at his word for once.

He did say these things at his rallies. What he actually meant? Who knows.

Paint for me a realistic, semi-realistic or even fantastical scenario Hedda where you actually think Trump could move or create a situation where the next Presidential Election does not take place as scheduled and he continues in office beyond January 2029 with his current administration.

He's playing politics like the businessman he is, dodging and diving against his opponents, that's the game DSC.

He probably never expects to get everything he wants from his first big demand, but gets something.

Someone got into his orange tinted ear and told him tariffs would send prices sky high.

And then someone else pointed out that Mexico and Canada had already agreed to post 1000s of troops at the borders to try and prevent drug imports so he was able to claim it as a negotiated victory.

Now he simply says he has decided the USA can control and rule Gaza and build a resort (over the bodies of 10,000s of dead children) the gullible thinks it's a wonderful idea.

What millions of Palestinians thinks is irrelevant. What is truly shocking is that people think this is a great idea.

In another age I think they would have been down there cheering the German troops as they entered Poland.

Not many boo's for President Trump at the Superbowl last night but plenty for Taylor Swift apparently!

First serving President to attend this, I was surprised to discover.

Yep. We'll boo a singer. And cheer someone who is currently urinating all over democracy and what the USA has allegedly always stood for. Gotham City cheering for the Penguin.

Trump may be wanting to bring peace to Ukraine but the other one to really watch that is getting ignored is Iran and the prospect that he's going to give the go ahead to Netanyahu and Israel to blitz Iran and destroy their nuclear facilities.
