"I accept that no violence, coercion or threats were used. I accept that the evidence of those complainants was that you desisted when they expressed unhappiness and that there was no cruelty. I further accept that the precise ages of the complainants were very difficult to assess.”

I did not commit the crimes for which I was convicted but please note the use of the word "coercion". Even for these events which did not happen, no complaint was made of lack of consent. The reason for this was because of the numerous return visits. No juror would have believed anyone would return again and again if they had not enjoyed themselves so, to avoid the obvious conclusion that nothing untoward had happened, the false accusers were told to say it had been with their consent.

In fact, it never happened. That was why they returned again and again.
