Thats really sad I heard it here first , she must have only been in her 30's. She was a very funny, non-cynical comedienne and I loved watching her on "Have I got News..." Also sad about Peter Osgood, footballing legend, who added a bit of glamour to the game back in the 70's. She was a lot more well-known to Radio 4 listeners for News Quiz and a couple of her own series. Saw her in stand-up several times, too. Extremely funny and one of the few stand-ups who could 'do politics' and still hold an audience.

I vaguely heard this on the radio the other day but was half asleep and then figured I'd imagined it.
