Moses Farrow's full story 5 Years, 11 Months ago
Moses Farrow's own website:

A SON SPEAKS OUT By Moses Farrow

The worst thing I have found over the years is the treatment of Soon Yi Allen from the get go- who the general public along with media pundits completely insult, abuse and treat as a moron deserving of no thought that she is capable of making up her own mind.

Woody & Soon Yi have been together for 20 years now and have 2 children.

Moses sounds very intelligent. Fascinating to read an account of life in that household from an eye-witness.

That is interesting. It corrects a few misconceptions I had about the situation, such as that Soon Yi was Woody Allen's adopted daughter, and I had no idea about the Previn situation, Mia Farrow's abusive brother or the suicides. Mia Farrow sounds a poisonous individual or perhaps mentally disturbed. Makes you wonder what kind of checks were in place that allowed her to adopt.

What an interesting and persuasive article...If true Ms Farrow should be doing some time for child abuse...I wonder if a retrospective investigation can be opened?

I find it a bit disturbing that he is so vicious about his own mother, who seems to be fighting battles of her own, and as a therapist he would be well aware of that.

He also attributes the origins of the battle to his grandfather's generation, possibly going back earlier. A family or generational curse, so to speak.

so you are "victim blaming" him?

I reckon when Mia Farrow has had 3 of her adopted children die her parenting skills can be seriously questioned.

Me too honey, but on his side. What must it have taken to do this, to say this against the woman who raised him? what is more likely - he is a sociopath after lime light and cash, or she is/was very disturbed?

Not necessarily, because adopted children do very often come with mental health problems to start with, and gosh,no, I certainly didnt mean to victim blame the poor boy, but for him to sound so cold about his own mother, when usually even horribly abused children are defensive about their parents, makes me think that perhaps he has told only a fraction of the dreadful stuff that has happened?

As an aside, though I don't think totally unrelated to the current discussion, perhaps all stories of painful childhood memories that go public should include a note similar to the one shown in the book Run for Your Life by Jill Joliffe (published 2014):
To tell my story I have had to reach far back into memories which seem vivid but may be distorted by time or prejudice, especially where painful memories are involved. I can only warn readers of this danger and add that I have attempted to avoid exaggeration and document all claims as conscientiously as possible.

It is possible that he is easily swayed etc, but because of his profession, and because we know that Mia Farrow is at the very least a peculiar and selfish parent, I believe he is telling the truth as he remembers it.

I'm only joking.

But it's clearly a dysfunctional family and yes, Mia's adopted kids all came out of bad circumstances.

Although so did Angelina Jolie's and even Hugh Jackman's and all thrive.

I find the most interesting aspect of the whole case...and how would I know what really went on..is that people take sides and believe which child they want to.

And it's often nothing to do with the truth rather preconceived prejudices.

And Woody's weedy looking, Jewish and small. Can't help.
