You're correct Hedda and Jo; I have since discovered the author and it was not The Secret Barrister (whose book is a MUST read by the way). However this blog has inspired an avalanche of activity - do read THIS...

Meanwhile, MWT's Twitter account has been re-opened; the man clearly feels he is untouchable despite enormous interest from various serious crime investigations and media attention. It must be suspected that cronies - perhaps more junior in 2000 - are now in senior police positions and are keen to avoid scrutiny of past behaviour. To put it simply; he knows where many bodies are buried (even if he appears incapable of unearthing perpetrators). Unfortunately for MWT - so do we.
It may be unjustified and, I stress, is only suspicion but I wonder whether retired Surrey cop Brian Marjoram is quaking in his boots after the Manhunt excellent ITV show. If I'd been him I'd have been horrified by the implications in the TV series. What implications? News of the World? Leaks? Mark Williams Thomas?
And if my suspicions are accurate, I bet Marjoram complained to ITV about these hints. And, if he did, I bet ITV would have finally dumped MWT - no matter what other pressure the public company came under. We shall only be able to guess the truth if, all of a sudden, MWT crops up elsewhere (such as in a minor role in a Ch4 series) in 2019. Or suddenly decides to "change" his Agency over to a firm less disturbed by potential future links. Or suddenly "decides" to suggest to his publishers that they might be wiser NOT putting out his book. Or finds himself having to answer serious charges about a Malaysian death. Or shuts down his Twitter account - again.
Meanwhile, in a totally unconnected event, the CCRC are investigating which ex Surrey Police officer tried to get £5000 each (total £25,000) for the False Accusers in 2001 who - he claimed - would each miraculously refuse to give evidence at my trial in September that year. It appears that ex Surrey Police officer tried (and failed) to get information from his ex colleagues - something which emerged during the "debacle" of my 2018 trial (amazing how much fresh evidence can be revealed when demanded by a decent Judge). But somehow he DID find all the names and contact details which, it appears, he then offered for sale to the National Tabloid Editors.
Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.
