... and sending what looks like boneless chicken to the press gallery in the HoC.

Do the Tories really think this is going to win them votes? It's just childish and not even funny.

And what was Boris Johnson thinking giving a political speech in front of a battalion of police officers? Was he trying to look like a strongman? That's what it suggested to me. Almost dictator-like.

It was apparently sprung on the police and they're not amused.

Police chief says force was not told about Boris Johnson speech plan

I'm wondering how long it's going to be before people start saying "Come back, Theresa. All is forgiven."

Many of BJ's statements, strategies and decisions have been flawed recently.

Dominic Cummings is largely blamed; for an adviser/chief of staff- he comes across as particularly unpleasant.

Perhaps BJ's upcoming weekend Balmoral sojourn will destress him - after disposing of nearly two dozen colleagues.

The absence of their votes could prove critical, in the days and weeks ahead.

When once mighty empires such as The Conservative Party face effective annihilation..they do desparate and silly things..And it must all fall back to the top man who's clown act was always more suited to HIGNFY.

Agree;sad, baffiling and silly days..

The Tories using a KFC "advert" on Twitter etc to demonize Corbyn are quite funny.

They don't seem to understand the power of advertising..associating Corbyn with one of the world's most successful images and advertising campaigns simply makes that success rub off on him in very subliminal ways that all advertising agencies understand.

I think they have handed over Johnson's campaigns to a bunch of Young Conservatives who haven't a clue about the big wide world.

Even electing Boris as PM was always bound to be a disaster..and accident waiting to happen.

I guess no-one thought it would happen so soon.

# so much madness in the media who are either dim or hoping their nutty claims will pay off...Corbyn and Labour got an historic huge vote just 2 years ago.
Nothing has changed in Labour (the antisemitic false campaign has hit a brick wall.although Britain's largely silent Jewish community will pay a price for decades to come for silently allowing themselves to be used)..it's hard to imagine why those voters will change their minds...the polices are no different.

But now the Tories under Johnson have shown themselves to be ruthless..throwing out decades old MPs who were in politics long before a carpetbagger like Johnson came along. Such a disaster. Not very British.
