50,000 in Six Weeks 3 Weeks ago
There were 50,000 extra deaths in the UK in the six weeks up to 1st of May versus the average for the same period in the last five years. These deaths came during a lockdown and social distancing period so it would have been significantly higher otherwise.

So no lockdown in the UK would have meant less deaths, I dont think so.

Who knows? Different countries tried different solutions. The only certain thing is that the four DeathCountries with over 30,000 deaths as opposed to the global average of 1000 believed the media hyped image of the virus. Had they seen the reality they might have suffered fewer losses like Greece (142), Portugal, New Zealand, Denmark, need I go on?

NO! Intensive testing and tracing so that those infected could be quarantined would have meant less deaths. Everyone else could go about as normal.
