Opening schools & infections... 3 Years ago

Opening schools up again has made no difference to the Covid infection rate.

This won't have anything to do with vaccines as children haven't been vaccinated. We are only talking about infections and vaccines don't prevent infection; they reduce severity of symptoms.
What other restrictions have served no purpose at a terrible cost?
Why aren't serious questions being asked?
How can gullibles keep just ignoring all the mounting evidence?

In my teeny tiny little area, both "cases" and deaths have risen a bit since the schools opened, but are coming down now.
I think we might have a higher than average number of grandparents living with the schoolchildren, and the grandparents tend to be younger than most places, so when more are vaccinated it should sort itself out.
Or it could be that the rabid little gang of community litter pickers have got more time for dogging and swinging now the children are back at school.

It's illogical JK to ignore the growing evidence to the contrary - things are moving fast.

Barney, it prevents some infections, not all infections.
Vaccines work by creating herd immunity, so the virus doesn't have enough hosts to get a grip. It doesn't make the individual immune.
