It seems that MWT Associates is now a one man band, according to what's on the Companies House website:
19 April 2021 Termination of appointment of Karen Williams-Thomas as a secretary on 15 April 2021
16 April 2021 Termination of appointment of Karen Williams-Thomas as a director on 15 April 2021
What's that about? Apologies if this has come up before and I've missed it.
PS: And it says the Confirmation statement is overdue.
This ghastly man fails to mention that his high profile Exposure was bound to provoke hundreds of false allegations. Reading the NHS reports, with the vast majority of fantasists making ludicrous claims like being raped in a public carpark, opens the eyes. The Dead cannot refute liars after attention or compensation. No wonder he waited until JS was dead before launching his fantasy.
He did not leave the Police to become an investigator.
He left the Police to become a Director at GUMFIGHTERS UK LIMITED - Company number 03887121 where he worked from 28th September 2001 to 31st October 2002

Was the supposed chewing gum removal company just a play on the word "gumshoe" for a detective?
Given what he says about being unethical, I wouldn't be surprised if he left the police because he felt the rules cramped his style.
Williams-Thomas has described himself as a "doer" during his 11 years in the force and was once told by a superior that he was a "nightmare to manage".
As something of a renegade, Williams-Thomas would disclose information to the press if he considered such disclosures were in the public interest. If those disclosures happened today, Williams-Thomas would be facing arrest or suspension. Willams-Thomas has made public his resentment of changes brought in which restrict police officers from talking to the media following the Elizabeth Filkin report on Metropolitan police links with journalists.
I think the Companies House info that the nature of the business was "other cleaning activities" is likely to be accurate. Other people involved in the company appear to have other cleaning companies associated with their names and footnote 12 of MWT's Wikipedia page is a link to a Yorkshire Post article of 19 March 2002 (which is no longer available) titled "Cleaning blitz to rid city streets of gum".

Some people might have been cleaning the streets, but instinct tells me that the purpose of his involvement in the company was not chewing gum removal or any other sort of cleaning and laundering.
