I have no knowledge of the detail in this but she seems typical of False Accusers after cash compensation from wealthy or famous people. It's almost become an art form.

I'm reminded of an old late pal who was a long time valet for Prince Charles but was fired after a couple of his drunken episodes appeared in the media.

He went off to the USA and made a fortune selling book rights and appearing on that endless chat show circuit..I think the very first ex-Royal aide to do so.

I and a pal ran into him about 4 years later in the Kings Road and basically said "you must be so happy now with a $Million in the bank" and he responded.."never been so miserable and the money means nothing. I embarrassed the British Establishment..nothing to do with Charles..and they have more ways of screwing up your life than anyone can possibly imagine."

## he was allowed to sometimes use Charles' cars and he took me and a few others to Ascot once in one of the royal blue Range Rovers..unbelievable..waved through at every traffic jam by cops who are trained to recognize their unique color.

If a jury is anything like people on social media and Prince Andrew finds himself in court, I fear he'll be toast. Ditto Gislaine Maxwell. Most people seem to be just loving the allegations.

I've been wondering how true the media reports have been that Prince Andrew went to "hide" at Balmoral, and sure enough, it's apparently an annual thing, going to Balmoral in the summer. Who'd a thunk it?

From a 2019 article in Hello Magazine:

12.8.2019 "Prince Andrew is enjoying time out at Balmoral with his mother the Queen. ... The Queen's Scottish residence plays host to most members of the royal family at some point over the summer break..."

Well, the girl was over sixteen in London, and there cant be much evidence of her being enslaved, so no surprise it was dropped.

Prince Andrew really hasn't helped himself with his ridiculous bleating.
I don't think anyone suspected him until he opened his gob.

People on social media...

The other day I had my own small taste of what having any level of fame on twitter can be like.

I hardly ever post on twitter (been months - much prefer koh!).

The other day I had the honour (as I consider him rather good on the subject) of having the 2 tweets I tweeted that day responding to a Peter Hitchen's thread on Covid (I know, I know I need to move on!) commented on and re tweeted by PH to his 158k followers.

They were measured, reasonable analysis - or he wouldn't have put them up. I was the only tweets that day he retweeted so apart from PH (who doesn't take direct messages) I was the other sole focus...

The shit directed at me (the surface of it public; the worst direct message) went on for hours on and off...."brain dead fucker", "cognitive cripple" "killer" etc etc.

I know I should just not of read it; but it was my five mins so couldn't resist!

But bloody hell what people with fame of some level have to put up with...

Why people still use social media is beyond me.

The other side of it is that I got into a couple of genuinely interesting exchanges and felt a bit bad that I couldn't respond to all the genuine on there (many dissgreeing; many agreeing) who responded . There were just too many.

But that is about 50%; another 30% are aggressive and 20% vile. It is such a shame that so many act in a way online they wouldn't dream of in reality.

Come the morning it was all dead on twitter so far as I was concerned; I ate my cornflakes undisturbed by direct messages; and dreamed about being someone again....

I loved the bit where you were called a "cognitive straggler" (If I am looking at the right thing? Peter Hitchens seems to attract bunfights)

Yes it was actually a good phrase, must admit....!

PH on twitter is yes a bear pit and he does attract a lot of opprobrium. They just used me as a proxy on direct message that day; as they couldn't get him. But very revealing...
