hmm,tell that to those of us who have lost our jobs and are struggling on benefits

It is noticable that the high end of the market has hardly been touched by this recession.

It seems to be being felt in retail - manufacting - middle priced leisure/restaurants etc.

I went to a concert at the South Bank. The expensive seats were all sold out. The cheap seats ( where I was !! ) were half empty. Sort of sums it up.

If someone has a positive bank balance with noughts at the moment they are in a very strong position to barter and to get good deals - and even find seats for some things ! For the rest of us with rising utility bills and fuel costs it is becoming more of a struggle.
