Michael Jackson's death shows how deep beliefs can be 14 Years, 10 Months ago
I can't comment on Michael Jackson's private life-I was never there so how could I possibly believe the rumours to be true or false ?.

But lots of others are seaking up. They are saying they know for sure Jacskon was a pedophile despite having no more knowledge than I have. It was rather sad to read on one of my favourite boards that about 20% were pushing the notion that despite being found 'not guity'' in his trial, that didn't mean he was 'innocent'.

Throw enough mud and it sticks.

However one of those boys who lived with Jackson has spoken:

Jackson's Australian confidant speaks out

June 27, 2009 - 1:51PM

Michael Jackson's closest Australian confidant, Wade Robson, has broken his silence about the iconic entertainer's death, revealing the impact Jackson had on his life.

Jackson was touring Australia in 1987 when during his stop in Brisbane he met Robson who was just five years old.

Jackson was so impressed with Robson's dancing talent he invited the youngster to perform at his Brisbane concert and then helped Robson, his mother Joy and sister Chantal move to the US two years later. Jackson signed Robson to his music label.

Robson, now aged 26 and based in Los Angeles, is one of the world's best known dance choreographers, working with the likes of Britney Spears, NSYNC, Usher and Pink.

He is the winner of two Emmy Awards for choreography and had his own show on MTV, The Wade Robson Project.

Robson also appeared in three of Jackson's music videos, Black or White, Jam and Heal the World.

"He has been a close friend of mine for 20 years," Robson said.

"His music, his movement, his personal words of inspiration and encouragement and his unconditional love will live inside of me forever.

"I will miss him immeasurably, but I know that he is now at peace and enchanting the heavens with a melody and a moonwalk.

"I love you Michael."

It is noticable that those who accused Jackson always seemed to be looking for big pay offs.....as they say there is no smoke without fire and therefore the stench of money ( probably their parents desires ) basically "did" for MJ.

The allegations never rang true. MJ was totally strange but his love for kids and the world did shine through.

We need to remember that many rock and pop stars have had what are now called "abuse" relationships - for instance ELVIS met Priscilla when she was 14 years old and he was 24. Jerry Lee Lewis had a 13 year old bride - Roman Polanski and in fact the list is pretty endless.

In fact I remember when I was at school most of the girls my age had boyfriends in the mid to late 20s - and they were 114 - 18 years old. I think that is still the case because girls that age ( and some boys ) like to think they are older than they are or some mature more quickly.

Either the consent law should be applied to all - or brought in line with the majority of the World. At the moment we have mixed messages all the time in the West - sex is illegal but we give out condoms and birth control to 11 year olds plus. How can that help a teenager to understand their position regarding sexual relationships. It is saying on one hand - this is illegal BUT here are condoms in case you cant help yourself !!!!!

That in my view is just plain wrong.

Michael Jackson for me will always be the victim of the media and cash hungry scroungers who wanted to cash in on his very sad need to surround himself with children. He was a victim. We need to remember that.

If there was no truth in it, why did he pay out millions first time round to avoid it going to court when he was accused ?

Probably because he knew he'd probably be convicted even if he was totally innocent.

That's the way it goes these days. All sex crime defendants are urged by lawyers to plead guilty. I was - and refused.
And it was strongly suggested I pay off the false accusers.

If I had, life would be very different.

Then why aren't more celebs/sports stars etc getting charged?

Fortunately there aren't as many criminals as we are told and there are some decent police who know a crook when they see one and don't get seduced by the idea of high profile wrongful convictions.

apparently, when asked why he paid out if he was innocent, he said "because I just couldn't take any more" that to me is just as plausible as him being guilty.

I imagine in his position he probably got lots of hangers on on the look-out for money.

Not that I know what is true and what is not.

Re:Michael Jackson's death shows how deep beliefs can be 14 Years, 10 Months ago
I think you are correct and that comes from J.Randy Taroborelli who had better access to Jackson than any other writer.

There is also the very insidious system in the USA of the accused pleading guilty to a lesser crime in a re-arranged deal.

It's meant to be an incentive for a guilty person to get a greatly reduced sentence and prevent massive court costs on both sides.

Instead it's routinely abused by DAs to secure convictions.

There is a famous recent case involving the actor Paul Reubens who plead guilty to a misedemnour when charged with posessing 'child porn'-over his collection of erotic art that many celebrities said they had seen-putting them in risk of a charge as well.

Reubens was convicted of the misdemenour yet still retains his art collection. Weird or what ?

And as Jackson seemed to have no concept of money..what was $20M as a pay-off when it would have cost that much to defend himself anyway ?

Plus the bizarre notion that if a person accepted a pay-off after supposedly being abused..where was the "crime" ?.

Odd how money soothes any ruffled feathers and even expunges the terrible 'suffering' of an bused person.

With hindsight he would maybe have been better going through that trial-if you read all you can about it I have no doubt he would have been found not guilty and the second more damaging one may have never happened.

Observation, Mike, and a certainty that the false accusers need a hook to hang it on; remember there was not a single complaint about me to anyone, police, newspapers or direct, in 56 years until the story broke and suddenly a lot of people saw cash.

If you look at all major stars of sport and entertainment - Ronaldo has had a rape case against him - Van Persie as well - The Stones have had some cases against them - The Who......need I go on.

Loads of celebs get this sort of attention. The "non story" is the hardest to argue against - so people like Dave Jones or JK go to court possibly not even knowing who is accusing them - and so how the hell do they defend against something that has not happened !! it is totally impossible.

I was told by a Lawyer that an allegation with no substance is often easier to prosecute because it becomes "your word against theirs" and then the argument is not about whether anything happened but about "credibility" of the accuser or the accused. It basically becomes a lottery. With the media sensationalising everything these days even if a Celeb wins the case based on evidence ( as MJ did ) he is still a pariah and these allegations are being dredged up hour after hour after hour. He cant escape them. The FALSE ACCUSER has won - they win because it is easier to destroy than create.

Michael Jackson was innocent. I dont believe he was perfect but I believe that he was innocent.

Every celeb must live in fear of such allegations. You only have to see Mohammed Al Fayed's recent experience to see it is not only young people who have these problems and those in entertainment - but well known business people as well.

It does seem likely that "The state" sponsors MUCH of this allegation business - not least with their "compensation" system which PAYS OUT for allegations - you dont even need to prove anything.

and to prove how the POLICE and STATE encourage this sort of "action " this story is a classic example of false allegations....

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1196362...-night-ex-lover.html

False allegations are now EPIDEMIC. I would envisage that probably 75% of teachers have had at least one allegation against them - rich stars probably have a 100% record against them.

It is out of control.
