Having just read several negative comments about last night's Midsomer Murders, I have to say that I really enjoyed it. Maybe it wasn't the most challenging of stories, but there have been worse episodes and I do like John Nettles. I recall an episode a few years ago, when Barnaby's new assistant mentioned the high murder rate in Midsomer, to which he replied, "It has been commented upon." Nice touch.
