Wonderful standing ovation for Sir Bobby getting his award in 2007 and delightful how clearly impressed he was that Alex Ferguson presented it to him. He was also the most successfull England Manager (Apart from Sir Alf). He got England to the semi-final in 1990, and it is generally regarded that the 1990 world cup was the springboard to making football the massive money making global phenonenom that it is today. Agree with all the points on Sir Bobby. But the phenomenon that is football came about because of satellite television which made it easy to broadcast the beautiful game to all corners of the globe - live.
