Trevor Eve 14 Years, 7 Months ago
The most charismatic actor on TV. Loving Silent Witness..it beats Lewis and Frost hands down.

I think you mean Waking The Dead - and this two parter was fantastic as opposed to last week's which I didn't like.

EXcellent and I can see the "college" featured in last night's episode out of my window. Currently up for sale for £15 million and being used for TV and Film.

I enjoyed last week's as well !

I think the college was used in 'Psychoville' recently

Cool. Do you know what episode. It was a Catholic Seminary before they suddenly moved out 2 years ago....and dominates the North London skyline with its tower ( you can see it from the M1 and A1 and A41 and from the train lines north if you look to your right )
It is next to the INSTITUTE ( World Health Organisation World Flu Centre ) and the HQ of the Jehovah's Witnesses - it is about 3 miles from the Met Police national computer and the Joint Command of all UK Military forces........

Strange that the Catholics upped and got out so suddenly. It was sold for a retirement home - but they must have gone bust because of the recession. So now it is a film set which is near to the film studios at Leavesden and Borehamwood/Elstree.

There is another big ex RAF Base near Heathrow which is also being used for many dramas and films. It looks like a cold war city - industrial complex.

Loads of empty big buildings all over the UK are now primarily used as film sets.

We are being turned into a back lot of Hollywood.

It was the last episode of Psychoville I think.

Re. last nights WTD - had overtones of a Hammer House of Horror episode.

Surely no police officer could be as brutal and as callous as the Trevor Eve character in the show?

This week's Waking the Dead was a good story but with some strange scenes in it. The final scene was a bit bizarre.

Trevor Eve plays the angry nutter very well !!

Yes it was terrific entertainment but very odd; especially the (assumed) ending and Boyd has clearly gone completely, totally bonkers.

Interesting fact; Trevor Eve turned down a career in Hollywood (after Shoestring was shown in the states) for the West End theatre instead.

He could have been a huge movie star!

I was surprised to notice too that he is married to the woman from the old Gold Blend coffee ads. She appeared in the first episode of this series as the long lost twin sisters.
