Ten year old boys remanded in custody for rape of 8 year old girl 14 Years, 2 Months ago  
According to The Sun they appeared in court "in their school uniforms".

Oh yes? Do we believe that?

And can anyone tell me how, if children under 16 are not capable of consenting, they can be legally considered to know that an act without consent is illegal? And who can say which party, the 10 or the 8 year old, were committing a crime? Surely, by legal definition, both?

'Tough on crime,& tough on the causes of crime'
Seems being tough on crime these days is getting 'em locked up early.
What kind of a sad world have they made for us?

such conundrums !..of course the definition of 'rape' could be something bordering on innocent fiddling or it could be sinister. (actually "school uniform" could mean just about anything)

I know one thing..it's never been a better time to get old !
