Just made myself the most marvellous sandwich - a toasted white bread with thin slices of cucumber and stilton cheese with a dab of salad cream, salt and pepper - delicious with a cup of Earl Grey tea.

Fish and chips here. I must say the fish was quite awesome. Cod...large...huge chunks of white tender meat underneath a crisp mid brown batter. Chips were crisp, soft mouthmelting potatoe.... a tub of mushy peas...salt, vinegar, some pepper on the peas. Heaven. I am fortunate that I live near a bloody fantastic fish and chip shop. I will die fat, stupid, but with a huge great smile on my face.

I too was quite impressed with my dinner last night. A tin of Baxters French Onion soup, with a slice of toast floating on top, and then grated Seriously Strong grated Cheddar Cheese, melted under the grill. It turned out as good as I've ever had in a restaurant - France or the USA. (The American's usually do the best French Onion soup!).
