ACPO first out of the blocks to moan - what a suprise. Via their press service the BBC.

"BBC home affairs correspondent Danny Shaw says: Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police Peter Fahy - who speaks on workforce issues for the Association of Chief Police Officers - tells BBC News the cuts to policing are broadly in line with expectations. He says the cuts will affect front-line policing and there is "no question" there will be fewer police officers after four years."
