Same area I was stopped and questioned for taking a photo of a Tranny Bingo sign in a pub window.

I'm much better at talking my way out of these things but the police training is so bad these days.

love the quote from the Superintendent :

"Supt Crandell said it had become tougher to do police work in Kings Cross because of phone cameras and increased CC-TV surveillance."

everyone can see when they put the boot in !

I was also stopped and detained at Kings Cross in 2006 on my way to a meeting at a well known record company. There seems to be a pattern emerging...... I do not look like a terrorist and all I got was a pink slip which gave no reason for my stop.... The Police are still out of control.
