unfortunately there is no background material about this incident on the website.

Do you have a link that tells the story ?

On the surface, whatever the reason the person was snatched, the very horror of having 4 big blokes in your living room like that who have the power to remove a person would cause years and years of nightmares and the need for therapy after.

we are well and truly on the slide to fascism. This is how it starts...first they came for.......(you eventually !)

amazing..I still remember all the times I came into contact with the wallopers in my youth in the UK and one could still rely on common sense to talk your way out of situations or for the police to not specifically want to bang you up except as a last resort.

What utter rubbish !

There is no context to this video, and if the Courts have decided (perhaps wrongly) that someone needs to be taken into care then thats what must happen.

Quite possibly true, veritas - but like you say we do not know the context.

The lad appears to be saving that he does not want to go (but he would say that wouldn't he if he was fearful of the man - his dad? - who appeared to have him in his flat).

Simply posting videos on YouTube is ridiculous - if he had a genuine complaint or grievance he should have made it to the Court.

The man made it clear that he was going to obstruct the removal (even putting the camera down on a shelf so he had his hands free?)

I have frequently criticised the police - and will continue to do so - but in this particular case, on the face of it, the police explained the situation as best they could, and then had to use force, as the man (and his son) made it clear they would not obey the Courts orders.

You're letting your personal thoughts cloud your judgment again ITK. You told us all how much better things would be under the coalition, but unfortunately this has not been the case.
Should the police be allowed to hurt a child who refuses to be moved from his own home?
The Liberals were supposed to be about individual liberty to choose, and is it unfair to choose where you want to live? Again the 'big state' knowing best, and pushing a small child around against his will

Is the Coalition supposed to cure everything in six months?

Should the police be allowed to hurt a child who refuses to be moved from his own home?

If he refuses to obey the Court - then yes !

Perhaps we should ask Baby Peter ? (oh, we can't, can we - the authorities didn't act fast enough in that case, and now he's dead !)

We CANNOT have individuals - any individual - who willfully refuses to accept law and order.

If the man had any kind of claim (as he states in the video) then he should make it via the Courts, not via YouTube ! (where his "edited" version of events will be judged by those who do not know the full circumstances.

Other websites now picking this up.

If it is true then the police assaulting a 13 year old is truly nasty.
Having been at the receiving end of the corrupt police and judiciary system I know you do have to stand up for your rights. If people lie in court, and the system has a built in bias to accept these facts then something has to be done.

Another prime example where it was confirmed that no action was taken against the police officer involved!

Indeed.

In fact, most "States" will not criticise their police ... the powers-that-be need them to keep order and exert their control for them.

Take a look at any dictatorship ... the very first thing they do is make sure the police / army are well funded, and "on their side".

Which is, in fact, why such behaviour inevitably leads to Civil War !
