Private guests to Windsor Castle are rarely publicised - no gaffe.

By denying any meeting the Palace has caused further consternation at the "remote" Royals.

I ask again - IF such a meeting had taken place then why not simply admit it?

Doesn't it appear odd to you, then, that the Royals seem to have usurped the entire thing (just for another RF public relations exercise) ?

I remember when this farce was first announced - that Palace watchers said it was now or not for some time, as the Royals would not want a wedding in 2012 as it would "clash" with Bettys 60th anniversary (and also the Olympics).

Only the Royals could run their family lives to an agenda such as this !

they are indeed parasitical but really what country has been able to turn it's Royal Family into the greatest tourist promotion ?

despite being opposed to the very idea that there is any group of persons on this planet who are elite, for practical reasons I think that the British Royal Family are the like the glue that binds the nation together.

The Thai Royal Family likewise and watch that place disintegrate when the current much loved King dies and his dis-liked son takes over.

My position? I admire the Royal Family, think they do a job none of them wanted in a superb way, believe they are a major national asset and generally support anything that boosts their image and our economy. As for meeting the in laws - none of my business.
