TOPIC: The robin in church
#67616
The robin in church 13 Years, 3 Months ago
Don't you adore robins? They are so cute. The pics of the one living in a church in today's papers is heart warming. I've had a robin (or family of them) living in my tree for 45 years. Ditto a blackbird, a thrush and several chaffinches. Plus the usual annoying and dirty pigeons. I have conversations with the blackbird, robin and thrush; I'm so familiar to them they don't bother to fly off; just look at me, say hello and get on with their business.

Last summer I visited Haddon Hall - probably the finest medieval manor house in England (largely untouched since the 15C).

As it was a hot day they had doors and windows open ... and the tiny Church was full of swallows, which was quite surreal.
