The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time by Mark Haddon.
A superb look into the mind of an Aspergers boy.
When I had an expert on one of my radio shows years ago, discussing Autism and Aspergers, I said "the one thing I'd want to do is hug him or her" (this was before such an admission would have got me 7 years) and they said "No - that's the worst thing you could do".
This novel explains why.
Brilliant.

A great book JK I borrowed my parents copy years ago and recommend it to my tutor who once worked for special needs kids.

Mark lives just around the corner from me here in beautiful Oxford. Fascinating book.
