I love this show, and it is becoming increasingly popular, however the bbc in their wisdom have decided to schedule the latest series of celebrity masterchef at 2pm in the afternoon. Thankfully I have freesat + and can record it while at work, but millions must be missing out on this excellent and popular series.

Actually the figures dipped a bit last time, and the line-up this time looks pretty poor, but I agree the scheduling is very odd (although there is an omnibus edition each week at peak time). Enter code here Please note: although no board code and smiley buttons are shown, they are still usable.

Yes the Ora restaurant does look lovely, Thai food is so light and refreshing. I wonder what the deal is when they let celebrities/contestants in the kitchen. Obviously great publicity for the restaurant,but a bad dish from a celebrity could ruin a restaurant's reputation. That's the American model, but I don't think it works, yet, over here. I wonder if the scheduling of Celebrity Masterchef is just another case of the 'selling ice-cream in winter' policy that helped finish off TOTP. They'll claim disingenuously that they gave up more airtime than ever before to the programme and yet it slumped - thus enabling them to declare it's gone stale.
