We don't have to agree with her rant to feel charitable towards a confused soul.
As increasingly we see more and more human beings losing the plot (which I think, as a species, we did some time ago), the need for decency, tolerance, kindness and intelligence rises.

I'm not racist towards British black people but do hate the Eastern Europeans who come and sponge our benefits system and work under minimum wage that we can't live on.
This woman does look a bit special and properly she lost her job to workers who are willing to work for less or her boyfriend has.
You can't help racist you might mellow down their views but they still may hate or discriminate them. There is nothing you can do to help this lost soul.

What the woman in the video says is true though and reflects how a lot of White British people feel. She was not racist or derogatary about other races, she merley pointed out that this country is rammed to capacity with people of non british origin who are here to take advantage of the system.

I'll always be greatly uncomfortable when someone is imprisoned for simply opening their mouths and speaking their views. Matters not if we disagree with those views, matters not if we find those views abhorrent, racist, homophobic, nasty...etc' Denying someone their right to express their views is one step shy of living in a state such as Iran, as one example. And in this particular case what is more worrying is that she is currently behind bars purely because someone decided to post her outburst up on You Tube.

For anyone whom has ever been in any doubt...JK has been right all along. If the media like you and your story, you're far more likely to end up behind bars.

If I was migrant/immigrant from some far out country they could probably of kept me on for £3.78 or something an hour.

I worked in a pack-house 2 years ago and it was full of Polish fuckers only 3 English were there including me.

Have you ever seen a Eastern European or Asian living rough on the streets ?

Diplomacy goes a lot further than rudeness,and politeness is de rigueur in the company of gentlemen and ladies.

The uncontrolled migration of the eurozone has been a disaster for our youngsters and working classes.
You can't have uncontrolled migration and a welfare state open to all.but on the other side controlled migration is a very useful ally of the economy,an extension of Marx's 'underclass' theory,but without the need to have a simmering proletariat eating away in your bosom.
That said never blame the immigrant for wanting to better themselves.I've worked abroad many times,and lived in places as diverse as Iraq,Ethiopia and Spain in the process.The fault lies with the government for letting it happen.
When the centre looses both touch and control with the public it opens the door to the extremes.Germany 1930s/Russia 1917 being examples.
You can't have policies that mean youngsters have no prospect of work,and not expect civil unrest as we saw in the summer.Sad really that we put people in this position,also if you did loose your job to an immigrant then my sympathy goes with you.Many around here are in exactly the same position.Just try to proportion the blame where it really lies,and not on the individual,who no doubt has the same problems in life as we all do.

You can't move for eastern european immigrants round here!
Half of them are working their socks off,Poles,Slovaks etc.Decent people mostly,but they are taking jobs that locals could easily do.
The other half are mainly Gypsies,filling up the job centers,often involved in illegal activity,and crowding out locals from the housing market,driving up rents etc.

We really do need to be more picky about who we let in,a look at how the arab countries deal with the people they invite to work there really would show up our current laws and practices.

People are mixing up the terms Eurozone and European Union as if they were the same thing. Most Eastern European countries are not in the Eurozone.

I actually did the opposite of those who come here. I went there. Had 8 years living and working in Eastern Europe, Hungary to be precise, and I loved it.

Anyway, back to the woman on the tram- it turns out someone on another message board I frequent knows her. This is what he wrote earlier:

Yes David,I also lived abroad a long time,and still travel extensively for work.It broadens the mind.
Funny though,but in my travels round eastern europe I met some of the biggest racists ever.Even more racist than your typical asian,the only difference it was quite acceptable to say it out loud.
However strong her views are,it still is an extremity too far to jail a person for their views,more in common with fascism than the tolerance I expect from Briton.
