I have alot of gay friends (in the entertainment industry, who doesn't?) but I feel they are very confused over this latest issue.

They want to be different (and want their alternate lifestyle accepted) but at the very same time they DONT want to be different !

Take lesbian couples ... frequently one partner is dressed / acts almost as a man. If she wants to be a man - let her be a man !! Not a woman, demanding men's rights, but also women's rights too !

The problem is, they feel they are "missing out" on something, and therefor want to dilute everything so it applies to them - while also demanding extra "rights" etc which are JUST for them !

No wonder they are totally confused.

Most gays couldn't care one jot. Whats wrong with civil partnership? Marriage is historically for the purpose of pro-creation. Whats wrong with trying to protect that? The'll be wanting designated parking spaces next!

I couldn't give a damn who gets married..male-male/female-female/male-female...pussycat-dog/ male-goat etc etc..

..and I have my own designated parking spot from when I had a knee replacement..2 years to run ..I have to hobble for a block when I park the car right outside theatres, train stations..at the door of Westfield etc..don't tell the Daily Mail though ( I's like a disability pension as well )
