He did quite a lot throughout the years, wrote some hot country material. Kept going into his eighties.

Difficult guy though. I remember when I was in the UK he gave Richard Williams a hard time on television in an interview on OGWT.

Can imagine he held some right-wing views. But no one’s perfect even, by his own admission on another thread, JK.
