Sam Ryder's Christmas single is absolutely awful. Not a real hit in a million years. It's like someone on drugs tried to copy Slade. And the video is SOO irritating. Ghastly - yet it's No2. Proof that the music industry has lost the plot and that the chart is now totally meaningless. What a shame!

I agree JK, it's utterly ridiculous and ghastly. I hear and see a bit of Wizzard also. How original...not. We need another culture jam like we had with Rage Against The Machine at Christmas. He was at Bournemouth doing a free gig or appearance at a Christmas market. Normally that what old and forgotten Pop Idol and X Factor singers did. There is always a supermarket that needs opening or is that gig still reserved for Cheeky Girls?
