Anyone else loving the vinyl revival? 17 Years, 11 Months ago
I'm loving the fact that I can go into my local record shop and see most of the weeks new releases on 7" vinyl!

Just listening to The Feeling, Robbie and Nerina Pallot all at 99p each. The return of pic discs, coloured vinyl and free posters!
Got Pet Shop Boys album on proper heavyweight vinyl to play later!

Seems strange playing new "pop" singles on my 1210, but they sound so much better than cd's anyday...

I have even bought a new record deck, and the packaging on the Kate Bush album on vinyl is superb.

My kids are now buying vinyl despite having the latest top of the range ipods and are actually excited by the arrival of each new package. Mind you they are buying mostly retro rock 'old' vinyl as opposed to new acts(except for Towers Of London)

New bands (more or less) ALL want vinyl releases these days.

the collectors go nuts for them, they look great, i'm totally convinced!

As an (occasional) DJ, I always prefer using vinyl. You know where ther beat will drop out/come back in just by looking at the grooves. Its always pleasing to see the new 12"s in HMV.

Have you noticed people still refer to extra tracks on a CD single or download as "the b side"
