that has to be one of the worst cover versions i've ever heard. they have totally missed the point of the original which was plaintive and heartfelt...not just a regular pop song. joe jackson would hate this.

I know for a fact that Joe contacted the band and their management team in Sydney, to compliment the band on such a great cover.

Joe allways finds covers of his work "interesting". He and his band(s) are rarely found to slag off anything if ever.
When I last saw him live, he covered the Tori Amos version of one of his own songs for this reason, and I know he enjoyed Anthrax`s "Got the Time", as well.
Well spotted MMC, and well done Randoms, on Nathans great re-mix, I have not heard the original yet.
