Vilified, criticised, hated, laughed at, blamed, insulted, defamed, slandered, called a witch/bitch.

Yet this lady keeps on going with only one desire - which is to make our lives better. In the aftermath of a democratic decision.

That decision was made by the UK electorate, not her. She only inherited the contentious result.


Despite enormous pressures, staggering schedules, worldwide focus, constant scrutiny and negative/biased analysis - this lady has shown resilience and fortitude.



Theresa May is a person the EU hadn't expected, and may well get her way.

Only Merkel stood up, as much - allowing immigration, against a battery of opposition.


In Europe they say - just go away; this Sussex lady just won't.


Merkel and May will be remembered...

I like Merkel; cannot stand May; thought she was a terrible Home Secretary; find her cold, robotic, rude and thoughtless. She is the secretary accidentally appointed CEO (because nobody else wanted this impossible job). Yes - I blame Cameron for thoughtlessly allowing a complex question to be answered by a simplistic solution given to uninformed voters. We employ MPs to learn about these issues and decide after hefty consultations with even better informed civil servants. Giving the decision to uneducated (in these matters) people only informed by the populist media - whose agenda is simplistic - was always going to lead to disaster.
